The Reformed Episcopal Church
1873-present day
Established over 130 Years Ago to Preserve
the Evangelical Witness of the Historic Anglican Church

In our modern society, values change as the wind blows. But God does not change! God’s values as set forth in the Bible do not change! And the way to know and serve God has not changed. Only through Jesus Christ can men ever find hope, peace, and forgiveness, and offer acceptable worship and service to God, our Creator. In keeping “the faith once for all delivered to the saints,” the Reformed Episcopal Church is

BIBLICAL - holding a faith and practice that is governed by the whole, unchanging, infallible, and inerrant Word of God.

LITURGICAL - reverently worshiping God by using the liturgical forms practiced by the early church, restored in the English Reformation, and preserved in the traditional Anglican Book of Common Prayer of 1662.

HISTORIC - holding to the historic doctrines of the Christian faith founded upon Holy Scripture and summarized in the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds.

The Reformed Episcopal Church Resolution on Sexual Morality

RESOLVED that we, the 46th General Council of the Reformed Episcopal Church, reaffirm the biblical standard given for the well-being of society:

• That sexual intercourse should take place only between a man and a woman who are married to each other;

• That fornication, adultery, and homosexual acts are sinful in all circumstances;

• That Christian leaders are called to be exemplary in all spheres of morality, including sexual morality, as a condition of being appointed to or remaining in office;

• That the Church is called upon to show Christ-like compassion to those who have fallen into sexual sin, encouraging them to repent and receive forgiveness, and offering the ministry of healing to all who suffer physically or emotionally as a result of such sin.
