CROSS
OF CHRIST – Christ Centered
Education
Jesus Christ is the Alpha and Omega –
the beginning and the end. In Christ
are hidden all the treasures of wisdom
and knowledge (Colossians 2:3). A
Christian education must equip the pupil
with the shield of faith, the armor of
God, and build upon Jesus Christ as the
starting point and substance of all sound
learning.
CROWN
– Dominion in One’s Calling
(Vocation)
To foster in children the desire, ability,
and sense of responsibility to develop
expertise, in accord with each one’s
gifts and talents, in the area of life
to which they are called, in order to
bring that field under the dominion of
Christ through their life-long service
to Him with a view to bringing every
thought into captivity to the obedience
of Christ ( 2 Corinthians 10:5).
QUIILL
& SCROLL – Academic Excellence
A classical education equips children
with the foundational, intellectual, and
academic tools necessary to become independent,
excelling, life-long learners and productive
citizens in society. They learn to explore,
to the glory of God, the depth and breadth
of God’s works in every sphere of
knowledge. The fear of the Lord is
the beginning of knowledge (Proverbs
1:7).

TREE
BESIDE THE WATER – Upright Character
Success in one’s life, on God’s
terms, is tied to the upright character
of the godly. Psalm 1 compares the righteous
man to a tree planted by the rivers
of water whose life is fruitful,
productive, and truly blessed. At
the center of his life is the law of the
Lord, represented by the symbol of the
Triune God in the leafy part of the tree.
LAMP –
The Holy Bible
Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto
my feet, and a light unto my path.
Christian education trains the pupil to
study every academic discipline from the
perspective of Holy Scripture, and thereby
learn how to use the Word of God to guide
oneself in every aspect of daily life.
SOLI
DEO GLORIA
The Latin phrase Soli
Deo Gloria, (To God
Alone Be The Glory) sums up our goal as
a Christian school. In the words of St.
Paul, whatever you do, do all to the
glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31).
